Love is in the air, so Happy Valentine’s day to each and every one of you! And this is where I get stuck with cheesy things to say. Whether you’re into Valentine’s or not, you must admit, red is a cool color. Just take a look at our special Valentine’s collection. They’re mesmerizing, aren’t they?

And so are our weekly featured files.

Our selected author this week is michaelfishel. This developer loves to create fantasy-like designs and Flash effects, so do check out his portfolio.

Facebook Fan Page Image Gallery AS3

Flashtuning just released a very cool Facebook Fan Page Image Gallery in AS3 you should check out.

The gallery is great to use on your Facebook page if you want to show your products or photos there but don’t really get results from the traditional photo album. This is way cooler and you can even use it instead of a Welcome tab so your non-fans get to see what you have to offer and then become fans. Check out the live demo to see how it looks on a Facebook page.

Did I tell you we have a new colleague? Oh, how could I forget? His name is Teo and he’s not only a great web designer, but also a very very cool guy. We’re taking him bowling this weekend and planning to let him win, just so we can buy the drinks. So, if you happen to see new elements on FC, you’ll know he’s the one to ‘blame’.

We’ve also got some new Flash files just approved on our website.  Take a look:

Our selected author this week is quantatec.

He’s a web designer from London whose portfolio includes about 80 Flash components and he currently has over 2,200 sales.

I read an article today and it said that January’s the laziest month of the year. It’s not that nothing happens, but that people tend to be lazy or maybe bored. I knew that about Mondays, but is this true? How’s January treating you so far?

Our authors seem to be getting back on track pretty fast. Just take a look at this week’s featured Flash components:

Our selected author this week is octapon. His portfolio includes 29 components and he’s made 73 sales so far.

Hope you have a productive week! Cheers

3 Special Holiday Packs

This season, we thought we’d show our appreciation for your support throughout this whole year by offering you three Special Holiday Packs that we know you’re going to enjoy.

Why? Because these packages include the best sold and most popular files on FC and you can now purchase them with a 20% discount! With each package you get, you can definitely create your website from scratch or you can use the files in your different client projects.

Is there more? Definitely!

And to top that, you get to use these files under the Single Commercial License terms, although you are actually paying the price for the Personal License.  Oh, and there’s more! Every package comes with a FREE winter Flash e-card.

Take a look at the files inside and pick the packs you like. You’ve got until January to take advantage of the special 20% discount. Enjoy!

Advanced CMS Flash Flip Book

We constantly have top notch files uploaded on FC but this one I had to bring upfront. If you have a jewelry shop or a cosmetic shop or any other kind of shop actually and don’t want to showcase your products using an old boring brochure, then you should definitely check out this Flash Flip Book.

It works like a charm and even if you don’t know much about how to use Flash, you’re taken care of. To use it you only have to open a file in Notepad and include your products there. You can even add videos to make it more interactive. Check out the demo and tell me you don’t love it.
