Having an out of the ordinary navigation in your website doesn’t mean it should be complicated for the visitor to find his way around. We all enjoy a cutting-edge Flash navigation that allows us to discover and experience what the site has to offer. Here are a few examples of creative flash navigation that caught my attention this week.

Snapshots of Provence

The creators define it as “a sound and visual experience from the travel book of photographer Thomas Duval and sound designer Tacteel“. This website has a stunning Flash navigation and works better than a tourist guide, combining relevant images, sounds and videos that represent the specific of a city. Use the showreel to navigate and explore.

I really liked Sevenedge’s Flash website and social network’s navigation menus.  It definitely gets your attention, while “floating” through their awesome interactive landscape.

Cyril Masson

Cryl Masson is a Parisian photographer, co-founder and artistic director at Studio White. His Flash portfolio is built with great taste, having in mind at all times that the navigation through the sections shouldn’t distract the visitor’s attention from his beautiful photographs. You will like it because it’s subtle and elegant.
