We see these lists of Top 10, 100, 1000 xyz every day. It’s become a trend lately. I just opened FC’s Twitter account and, bang, – Top 10 Cool Twitter Custom Button Generators & Badges, Top 10 Secret Fast Food Items that YOU Don’t Know!(ups!), 33 WordPress Plugins To Power Up Your Comment Section, 10 Reasons why brands fail on Twitter, and so on and so forth.

But what’s better than being in the top 10 of a list? Being the Favorite, obviously! Well, in case you haven’t heard, there’s a “Favourite Website Awards” aka FWA on scene. They’re setting a trend and picking the favorites: of the day, of the month, of the year, of the people.

The FWA has been gathering slick websites from all over since 2000. To them, being a favorite means “cutting edge” ideas and creative use of technology.

Check out the website that won the award of the FWA to see what I mean. It’s darn amazing!

I’ve also discovered a pretty awesome website with an extremely unique idea: painting a song. Almost made me believe I’ve got talent, so that’s worth it.
